I want to do a collaborative drawing/painting with YOU!! This is an experiment… and not really my idea as I saw something similar done in blogland a few years ago… but please, COMMENT IN THIS POST with a suggestion of what to draw… it could be as simple as “a rabbit” or as complicated as “a realistic portrait of Obama” or “red.” (Challenge me!!!!) On Sunday at noon Mountain Time I will pick one randomly and draw it and post it.
Then we’ll repeat the process five or six more times, and I will keep adding to the original piece. In the end anyone who has commented will have a chance to win the artwork, weird as it may be!
It will be my job to try and make all the suggestions work together in a cohesive piece. So please join me and COMMENT!!!!

OKAY! The winning number was 4, a flying pig! I will post my rendering soon and then we’ll do it all over again. Thank you everyone!!

OK … time for some existentialism … something capturing the essence of “stillness”
Option B, in case the above is too ridiculous
A cow – I love cows, would love to see how you would paint one.
Maybe a cow practicing stillness …. OK, I’ll stop now.

Hi Carla,
What a fab idea!!!!! I’ve immediately got one for you…one I’m working on at the moment and I’m curious what you’d do with it!
I don’t know the exact translation in English, so I’m going to try and explain it to you.
Do you know these statuettes – usually monkeys – one holding his hands to his ears, another holding his hands in front of his eyes and the last holding a hushing finger in front of his mouth…hear, sea and be quiet is the literal expression in Dutch. Is it “hear no evil see no evil”?
Here’s an example of the image:

Now…does this theme spark your inspiration?

P.s. Fun idea! Also, if you are so inspired, Lola’s kitty friend gives her a bath every day and is twice her size
