I can’t imagine how exciting it mus be to hole a book, a book that you wrote, in your hands for the first time. Congratulations, Carla! I have my copy on order from Amazon and can’t wait to receive it. Way to go!!!

So happy to find your blog — which I found after Amazon told me I should pre-order your book (which I did). Delightful! And congratulations, I know it’s a thrill.

Wow, how cool it must be to have your OWN book in your hands!
I’ve ordered yours and I can’t wait to hear it thumping on my doormat!
Your class was so wonderful; it’s helping me to draw every day! It’s really made the ‘click’ for me in seeing rather than thinking while drawing. And I see that my drawings are improving because of it. And it was such fun! Have you ever thought about “Silliness, the sequel?” of course becoming the “Silliquel”? If you ever consider doing a sequel online class, I’d love to hear about it. I’ve not yet finished the last few worksheets due to circumstances, but I’d love to continue taking your classes! I know, I know, a book will be on its way soon! But sometimes you just get that “more, more, more! feeling”. When something works for you. Well, see? Now I’m beginning to sound ingrateful for the classes I had by complaining it’s not enough! Hehe, sorry!!! Your classes were just too good and too much fun!
Well, enjoy your book and be proud of it! I haven’t seen it, but I bet it’s wonderful! I’ll review it on my weblog when it’s in my posession.

Hi Carla! – I just had to send you a note and tell you I LOVE YOUR BOOK! Got it from Amazon the minute it came out! It is really, really wonderful. I’m starting on one of the flower pictures this morning, out photographing in my garden for reference. There are so many great exercises and so well described and laid out. Very accessible and fun. Just like you! Congratulations on a job really done! Enjoy the fruits of your labor!! I wish you many more sunny Seattle days. See you at PLAY?? I just signed up. xo frannie
