Hello! I had so much fun writing Monday’s haiku, that I thought I’d start a “day.”
Join the fun! Each week I’ll pick a theme (either a word, a phrase, a photo or an illustration) for you to write a haiku about and leave in the comment section of Wednesday posts. Even if you “can’t” write, please join in!
Today’s prompt: Bad hair.
The sillier the better!!! All comments must be haiku!
Note: Multiple entries encouraged; all haiku copyright of originator.
It’s Wacky Hair Day
Seventh grade is super fun
(Looks the same to me.)
You call it bad hair:
A mop of wild stray pieces.
I say a new style.
🙂
even on a bad hair day
I dream of a bad hair day.
Farrah had the look
Oh, the feathers that she had!
Me? Coiled wire.
The salon mirror
exposes vulnerable me.
You can’t make me go.
Fabulous wild style
Destined for fashion greatness
or Idol Stardom
three tufts of brown hair
sticking straight up in the air
they are neat looking.
Poker straight hair
didn’t wash it this morning
greasy.
the grass is always greener;
curling irons, straighteners–
there is no good hair.
bad hair is a fear
fear not-go for windblown look
my good friend told me
Found hair in the drain
on the seat
in his nose
on his back
bad hair
not quite high fashion
tufts of imperfect softness
escaping the comb

I use elastic
to keep all my hair pulled back
it still tickles me
