Hello!
Here are selections from this weekend’s sketchbook activity… I only had a black Sharpie pen here at home (everything else being housed in my office downtown), and it was a pleasure to only worry about “line” and personality of the creatures (without the distraction of color).
Sorry about the blueish cast to the images… clearly I need a “Take-Better-Photos” tutorial, OR (more likely) a Personality Change (since I already know that snapping these hurriedly with my i-phone without lighting isn’t going to make the best photographs, but who can take the TIME????!!!)
What are you up to this week?
These are SO super!!! Some of my all-time favorites of your work. I adore how the personality shines through in the fish and birds. They look really stressed, poor things, with all their worry-wrinkles.. Absolutely ADORE them!!!
Myself, I´m working on a book for my step-daughter. I´ve just finished machine-embroidered the cover. There´s a bird there too, but he doesn´t have your lovely eyes.
These are incredible.
Thank you!!!!
Oh noooooooooooo…no personality change….
May be a crash course in Photoshop…

they are so adorable Carla…..they have little characters already and they’re such simple drawings!
