The official publication date for “Drawing Lab” is Thursday, July 1st. This will start a month-long celebration here at Snowball Journals, where there will be drawing giveaways, special “drawing assignments” and links to eight (8!) book giveaways, each hosted by a different DL contributing artist!
But to start off the month, you can help me celebrate on July 1st one of these ways:
1. I will be at the Pioneer Square Artwalk from 10am – 9pm with a table of books (I’ll be in the Art in the Park section). If you’re able, please come by and say hi!!!
2. At 1pm Pacific Time (4pm Eastern Time), I will do my first-ever RADIO show!! Here is the link. Rebecca E. Parsons will be interviewing me on the “Artistically Speaking Talk Show”… I hope you will tune in!!
I’m SO happy that your book is doing so well! You deserve it. It ROCKS! 🙂 I’m going to do a book launch party on my blog July 28, but the month-long thing is a great idea. Mind if I steal it from you? 🙂
I have it on order from our major Canadian bookseller. July 1 is our national holiday so I will have to wait until the next day to have it shipped. It is the one “art” project I have signed up for this summer. I am looking so forward to seeing this. I recently did a sketch of my old dog, inspired by your art, I’m hoping to do more, incorporating them into my art in a lighthearted way (again inspired by your own art). My old girl passed away two weeks ago after 15 years of love, unconditional love and much heart-string manipulation. These drawings will be a way of keeping her alive and close to me now.
The book so nice I ordered it twice. I must have really wanted this book because I pre-ordered it from Amazon twice, accidentally. I am glad I did because I gave one to a friend and she loves it as much as I do. I’m so happy I ordered this fabulous book. I think I will do the Modigliani parent portraits first. Like Dawn said, your book ROCKS. ~Kym
I pre-ordered your book from Amazon before I ever found you in the blog world. I love it, unequivocally, and I’m excited to join the journey. I left a review there, which is not something I regularly do. I wish you much success and happiness. (You have a new groupie here.)
Just got your book from Amazon based on Teesha’s recommendation. I LOVE it! Already drew a bunch of silly cats. Thanks! I look forward to lots more silliness and fun… in life and drawing.
Just ordered today – found it via Natasha May’s art blog who is doing a review. Can’t wait to play!
Happy book day. I can’t wait to pick it up.
I already ordered your book on Amazon, and I can’t wait. I wish I’d be in Seattle today, but it is very very far away from France.
