I’m trying something weird. But GOOD-weird, I hope!
About six weeks ago one of my Silly 2 students asked if she could partner with me to bring “The Art of Silliness” to her Spanish-speaking friends. I thought, “What a bueno idea!”
So we’ve been working hard over here (“here” meaning my little corner of the U.S., and Almu’s little corner of Spain), to bring the Silly to the Spanish-speakers in our midst!
Of course, I speak very little Spanish. (“Hola. Sí. No.”) But I am ever-so-slowly starting to remember my three years of high-school Spanish classes, and with the capable help of Almu, I am so looking forward to the Silly en español!
The class info, in Spanish, is here:

Adios!

Auguri!

Hi Carla,
I’m so excited to start the Silly 3 class…just registered. I’m kind of intrigued about the Spanish version. I am a elementary school teacher, and most of my kids come from homes where Spanish is the primary language. I initially signed up for me, as I read and participated in the Drawing Lab workshop on Artist of the Round Table group. It sounds like so much fun. As I thought more about it and the fact that they are short little lessons each day, I thought I might be able to find the time to include these in my school plans and try to get in some art (which we never have time for). Then I saw your Spanish versions and I thought how fun it would be to send home the Spanish version with the kids after completing it in class so they could do it with their parents. We don’t have a lot of parent involvment so this might be a great, fun way to get the parents interacting with their kids. Therefore my question to you is if you would be able to offer a package deal or something if someone wanted to purchase both the English and Spanish versions. I am not sure of your costs and what not, but I thought I’d check to see if that was an option you had thought of. Thanks so much for you time. I am so excited for January 5!
