Break a leg!
I got to visit Etsy and the Craft Labs in November and it was sublime – I wanted to move in. Alas, I was not allowed but it is a MUST SEE for anyone who is handmade inspired. Good luck with your class – it’ll be brilliant
What fun. I am originally from New York, and have thought it would be great to visit Etsy labs.
Good luck with your class.

Wow Carla! This must be exciting for you. You are really an inspiration for all of those artists out there that want and attempt to make a living at it.
I agree with Jill… Break a leg! Or as the French say: Merde! Merde! Merde!

Oooh, I am SO excited for this!
Carla,
I love all your work so much that I would like your permission to use your book when volunteering through Free Arts of Arizona. Currently I’m working with six Jr. High School age kids and they seem to be most interested in drawing. This next week the subject will be monsters and I can’t think of a better, or more fun, reference than Drawing Lab. Also, would you be interested in making a donation of your book to just this small group of kids? They are in a facility for the long term and really only have what others give to them. I apologize for asking, especially here, but didn’t know how to reach you more privately. You can verify that I am a volunteer of Free Arts with a contact name and number that I can provide, if you’re interested in helping out with this one group, this one time. If not, may we use your book (my copy) in our group meeting(s)? I appreciate anything you’re willing to do or share. Thank You! Lynn Thomson
I love your picasso creatures Carla! I am happy for your success!
