Lately I’ve had rabbits on the brain. I’m working on a slew of rabbit paintings, none of which are quite ready to show, but here’s one I did finish yesterday (and yes, I think it’s a dog, not a rabbit. It morphed on me at the last second. 6″x6″, mixed media on wood).
I am trying to paint as much as I can before the next round of online workshops carries me away to Computerland for a few months.
(Computerland is not a bad place, it’s just a place where your hands can’t be as messy.)
If I’m fairly quiet over here, that’s why!
see – another example of how we are soul sisters! As we found litter #4 this weekend!!! Five baby bunnies…ready in time for Easter. I think it may be the Universe telling you you need a bunny. I think I can mail one! 🙂 Love your bunnies – they are so expressive and I bet, easier to take care of then mine.
xo
Oh my, at first I thought you said a “stew of rabbits” and that weird scene from Fatal Attraction came to mind.
Eewwwwwwwwww!
Carla, I love this one! I am looking forward to when you have some of these to sell!
It’s a flop eared bunny, i think, with a very soulful face!
Yes, this does look more like a dog – I love the texture and colors. Look forward to seeing more of your painting that you are working on now.
Probably this blog’s best piece of writing on the net…
