(From my sketchbook; pencil and colored pencils)

Summer is almost here! (I do realize that for a lot of you, since your kids are already out of school,”summer” has already started! And not to forget you readers from the Southern Hemisphere, where you are heading into winter…. But HERE in the Sonheim household, Wes has another week and a day to go, so we’re still in the “Making Summer Plans” mode!)

Here’s what we’ve got so far:

June 13-26 • PHOTO SILLY Online Class. Steve and I are working together on this one, and so far, very good! (We were a little worried, as working together on creative projects in the past has been, um, well, you know, um…)

June  14 • Pack Wes up and ship him off to Colorado for a few weeks.

June 19 • Steve and I celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary!

July 2 • Wes turns 16!

July 10ish • Christer and Christi move to Seattle! Figure out the driver’s ed thing for Wes.

July 25 • I’m going back to New York to teach a workshop at etsylabs in Brooklyn… details soon!

July 27-28 • I’m going to be teaching at an event especially for elementary school teachers in New Jersey. I’m really looking forward to it! Here’s just a little bit about it:

Educational Summer Institute for Teachers!
Teaching Outside of the Box • Califon, NJ
TWO Dynamic Days: July 27 & 28, 2011

Practical activities to promote applied arts and literacy on a shoestring budget that are easily integrated into any curriculum and meet standards. HANDS-ON workshops!

And, there’s scholarship money available, too!

It’s been one of those weeks, here. It’s Friday today and I find myself kind of swirling in an “end-of-one-of-those-weeks” pile of things to do, things to write, papers to sort…

It will be okay, though, because I feel GOOD today! And on Good Days, stuff gets done.
