I did this drawing/collage over a year ago but I’m pretty sure I never showed it here. I didn’t like it at the time, but just coming across it now, I’m wondering what my issue was. It’s okay!
I wanted to let you know that I changed the dates on the Journal and Purse online class to start November 14th… this was due to several requests to move it up so people would have time to make stuff for the holidays.
My mother is coming for a visit tonight and will stay through the weekend. She’s coming to meet this little cutie pie!!
Liam at 6 weeks old.
Happy Friday, everyone!
I love your collage of the star gazer. Cute little Liam will be the star of the weekend, and I suspect it will be hard for your mother to tear away from him when her visit comes to an end. Have a happy time!
First I must preface this: I like your drawing very much!
If it were mine the only changes I’d make is to take the circles away from the moon-glows and darken the earth (or lighten the sky). My eye goes straight to the sky and sticks there. The Creature points the way!
It’s really charming and I LOVE the strong abstraction.
I’m an art “critic” so forgive my presumption of giving you my feedback.
I love your drawing/collage! Thanks for sharing it with us!
I like your picture! And I love your little Liam. Enjoy him. I have a grandson, he is three now, the time has gone so fast.
I like your collage–puts me in mind of the book “The Little Prince” I had as a child. Illustrations were similar. Definitely has a mood to it.
Liam is so adorable! I imagine you will be able to get a bit more done with grandma coming to play with the little tiger. Try to remember to enjoy some time with Grandma too!
Oh! I think I’ve been complimented!
Liam is my grandson… and my mother is his great-grandmother! We are lucky to have my son and DIL living here in Seattle with us, just 10 minutes away!!
Hi Carla,
Just thought I would drop you a quick line to say “thank-you” for sending Honey her Squeenly prize she was busting at the seams to open her envelope from America =^> Honey would like to know where is Sillyland?
Take it easy,
Kosana
😀
and, “Everywhere is Sillyland!”
