Hello everyone!
It’s such a beautiful spring day here in Seattle, it’s hard to be inside.
The above image is a mix of watercolor, gesso, colored pencils, markers and beets. (I had it at home while Steve was cooking a few weeks ago… he cut me little slices and and I used them like stamps… they made the most beautiful pink color, and seem to be permanent. or “permanent enough” for me!)

this is a great painting — love the use of beet — I am loving your new images — I am a flower person and received the email today, but have not gotten to it yet — life is getting in the way — video worked fine and you look great — love your smile — nice simple explanations — :0)
Hi Carla, Hope you all had a lovely Easter. Thank you so much for your call. I really enjoyed talking to you. This is such a neat painting.
beets! i love that. i use them in my juice and smoothies and i always have to make a print on a paper towel. the pink is simply amazing.
Usually I don’t like beets ( to eat I mean…) but I love their use here; what a pretty drawing !!
Thank you for making me realize that I should indeed look at foodstuff in different ways, not only in terms of delicious, fattening, etc.
