This week I’ve been working on cleaning my studio. I found this dog made awhile ago with ballpoint pen, and probably cut out like this because I messed it up at some point. I’m never really sure what to do with these little odd ones that end up all over the place….
This is the last week of the school year and so we are busy running around setting up and taking down chairs, etc. How are you?
Nice find! Why couldn’t these little cuties turn into jewelry? Copy, laminate onto something firm, add a pin back. Just sayin’.
Oh, and I decided to move to a bigger studio two floors up from mine in the same co-op (sometime in August, after we find an artist for my studio). I think I might be crazy… — Serena 🙂
Love the dog. Why not use him in a collage?
He looks like a wise ole dog. Maybe he can learn a new trick?
Haha, at first glance I thought it was a little dolphin riding on the back of a little sheepdog with the hair so long, it covers his face!!
At first, I thought this was a baby whale riding on it’s mama’s back. When you said dog, I had to look again. I see him now! I love imaginary animals that can turn into other imaginary animals when you blink. 🙂
I’m counting the days (well, actually weeks) until the holidays start!
I am going to paint and draw my way through all the wonderful “Crazy Flowers” videos. Can’t wait, because the ideas /techniques shown there are really great. Going to work on another “Junk Mail Book” as well.
