It’s astonishing how many of us give ourselves over completely to fear when offered the chance to make art, and we lose years we could have been creating, just sitting on our hands and saying, “Oh, no, I can’t.”

My now 9 year old did line drawings with crayons when she was about 16 months old and I drew a flower on top of each. She thought it was the beat thing ever. That drawing has pride of place on my bedroom wall. I love Liam’s excitement. So cute!

Good on you Liam! Don’t ever forget how to have fun drawing. I love watching my 3yr old daughter draw. She always give a little commentary of what she is drawing too.
