I’m working today on the first Ragamuffin Scrap Animals email… the one-week online class begins on Monday! Steve made this “promo video” which gives a teaser. Join in if you can!
Also, I spent some more time yesterday on Gelli Plate prints:
I do plan to put some animals in some of these, but I wanted to scan them in at this stage because I like them as-is, too.
Have a great day!
hi Sonia, first of all I love your gelli prints…so original and beautiful…..would love a workshop for them !! I have tried to join your ragamuffin class[ I had been looking at it and then saw your video and your sunny smile won me over 🙂 ) but paypal is giving me an error message 10417. ive tried 3 times and at different times…..I have contacted them to see what’s up ….I wondered whether anyone else was having issues…I don’t like giving my credit card details out online and would prefer to pay by paypal……
What product do you use to scan them? PS Dillon returns home from Redmond (Digipen) this weekend. He is a Junior now 🙂
Sorry—more to say. Love seeing you in the video and your animals are super cool. I just met an artist online that you might like to look up. https://www.facebook.com/sunny.carvalho.5?hc_location=stream She has some fun stuff sort of like yours. Maybe you already know her.
Adorable!!!! thanks for sharing, Kelly Date: Wed, 24 Apr 2013 20:30:26 +0000 To: browninkstudios@hotmail.com
Carla, love seeing you in motion!
Go, gellies! You are having F U N !
I am allready messing around with gelatine prints. Did my own plate with Agar. It works fine but I am still trying and finding out. Thank you for the inspiration.

Amazing layers of color, what fun you are having!
Wow! Your prints are amazing! They are so different from other ones I have seen. 🙂
Any way we can beg you to make a video of you rocking the Gelli plate??? 🙂
Sure!
I would love to see you working withe gelli plate too!
I love how you set the Gelli up to make your prints look very much like abstract landscapes. Not sure whether that is intentional or not, but I do love it. You’ve inspired me to see what I can do along these lines. Your prints are so beautiful! Can’t wait to see the animals you create on them. 🙂
Yes… abstracted landscapes was what I was going for!!
