Today was fun. Went to the zoo with Sandra M., one of the participants in The Year of the Giraffe class and saw, among other animals, the new baby giraffe!
Then I had lunch with the delightful Liesel Lund. And when I got to the office, I took a little time to paint.

Carla, do you call ahead and ask the animals to come out and play? We were just in the Portland area (1200 miles from home) and so visited the zoo. Kind of a waste of $91 ): but we did watch the giraffes and elephants and orangutan and bats 🙂 But nothing much else wanted to socialize.
