A few years ago I tried a friend’s Holbein Acryla Gouache paints and haven’t been able to get them out of my head. So I bought some the other day!
I had no idea what colors to get (my lack of art training showing here), but I picked three primaries I thought might work and a few others: Crimson, Light Yellow, Prussian Blue, Pale Peach, Sepia, and Titanium White.
I hope you have a great week. The “Year of…” class registration will open this Thursday. 😀

I’ve been playing with these paints recently, too! I’ve also been using the Turner Acryl gouche, which are a little cheaper (and a set of mixing colors is $10 at Jerry’s) and work exactly the same, except they have all kinds of pretty pearls, pastels, and textured gouache. Happy playing!

I’ve used them and liked them except they don’t re-wet. So now they are on the list of disappointing art materials. Bleh.
