I work about a month ahead on the Fairy Tale class. This is an experiment for the third one… I’m not sure it will make it into the final lesson, though, so I felt freer to show it here.

This is torture! I hope u do it again when I’m not so busy. Wanted to sign up but I knew I wouldn’t do it justice. Baby on the way and a pack of school kids plus a toddler. Eek! Continue to keep us updated in these posts though! Those images are just shivery-good.
I love your experiment – has the air of an oriental woodcut and a little geisha girl but I may be projecting as I’ve been craving Japanese food.

Oh, I’m intrigued. I’m guessing at the fairy tale. I’m also wanting to tell you that I’m enjoying this class so much with the rich literature and the dreamy imagery! My mind has been flowing in many creative ways. I want you to know that I appreciate all the hard work that is going into this class. I’m loving it!
Dear Carla, Believe me It is I who owe you. What a thrill to be doing this class and challenge in art so late in life. I have fell in love with my drawing ability and loving the struggle with “modern media and expression” The freedom is wonderful. Kind Regards Wendy Murley

Love it! Now I’m going to be trying to figure out what our next fairy tale will be. Hoping it’s from Japan 🙂 I’m really having a blast in this class. It’s hard, it’s fun, it’s challenging, it’s frustrating, it’s very satisfying…learning so much and loving seeing all of the amazing work being posted and loving learning these new techniques.
