This is a wonderful technique that I am going to try for sure and maybe incorporate into a Lifebook assignment! Great for beginners I think!

Thanks for sharing, Diane and Carla. I did both classes by Diane, and just knowing that this post was up brought back memories from those classed. I have to admit I played the pre-class interview so often – just to see how you paint – and was very inspired by Dianes use of negative space. Thanks for putting this in a free tuturial.
