Hello!
I had the best day today… a perfect day! Slept in, made some fabric-wrapped animals (will show soon), worked out, went to the thrift store, and now a movie at home with Steve. And a beautiful day in Seattle, too.
How about you?

Hey Carla, glad you had a great day! Thanks again for drawing my name to take Fred’s watercolor class! I am having soo much fun painting and learning a new technique…Fred is a wonderful teacher. Love his relaxed manner. Got up, fixed a delish broccoli salad, met with some women from our church and had lunch together. Put grapevines in my van to take home and use for wreaths…spent the afternoon with my husband and had a visit from my best friend, my sister! Lovely day….Rita Barker

Hi Carla, yeah…sounds like a great day to me as well! Enjoy the weekend.
Bitter Cold!!! Snow started as the temperatures warmed up, a bit, and then I painted a warm vegetable for Fred’s class. Not a bad day in the Northeast either!
Happy to read you’re happy! 🙂
Smiles, Saskia 🙂
Aren’t you a lucky girl… and sunny weather, too… sounds like a perfect day to me! I’m dying to see your fabric wrapped animals. 😉
Sounds like a wonderful day! Thursday and Friday our temperatures were down in the 30’s – I’m on the South Georgian Coast (45 is cold for here). But today will be my “perfect” day – the temps are back up so I will walk, bake bread and play with my Spark assignments on my day off.
Up early, Patchwork Society at Modern Domestic (Portland, Oregon), grocery shopping, home for a little tutorial on how to print PDF’s from my son, sewing sewing sewing on a bee block that I actually got done, falling asleep on the couch watching Scott and Bailey!tee hee ~ you asked!
Love your bird and looking forward to seeing the fabric wrapped animals.
Added another layer to an art journal page, sewed some almost-random strips of fabric together for a quilting experiment, knit a few more inches of the red poncho, watched (more) inches of snow come down (in Massachusetts, where else?)
Any day I begin with seeing another piece of your work is a pretty good day .It’s raining here…but that means more art time….yay!
