I had a pretty perfect weekend!
On Saturday I attended a painting workshop with my friend Diane Culhane… she taught an in-person version of her online class “Paint Your Garden.” The workshop was held at ArtsEast in Issaquah, WA. I enjoyed spending the day (mostly) working on the above painting (which went a bit off-topic with animals, of course!).
On Sunday I spent the day with the grandkids and spent lots of time reading, snuggling, jumping on beds and even painting.
How was your weekend?
I’ll trade you week-ends.
A fun painting!
Love the painting!!!
Spent my weekend making travel journals for my daughter and granddaughter and me. We are going to London and Paris in two weeks!!! Am looking forward to taking another class from you (and yours) later! Loved the fairytale class. Justine
Love love love this painting! It’s so whimsical with such movement.
SO so beautifully wonderful.
there are so many things to see in your painting! i really love it.
Hi Carla! Love your painting! Sounds like you had a fantastic weekend! 🙂 I spent the weekend at the lake. Beautiful weather and so relaxing. I even did a little watercolor painting outside! 🙂
Wonderful painting. Love how there’s a mix of Dianes offering of technique, the use of negative space – and your colors and fun imagery.
Oh I forgot to add, I spent the weekend painting a lot too. Watercolor work outside and writing stories during a lovely stay in Italy. Painting with Diane – I would have loved very much as well. 🙂
