I have a hodgepodge of acrylic paint procured variously over the years — a lot of it dried up and no longer good. I want to start fresh! So I’m trying to use up the old so I can buy some new.
These patterns/backgrounds/collage papers were painted on newspaper flyers using a brayer.
Have a great weekend!
Very cool!! I see lots of collage pieces in your future:)
The first one almost looks like a pond, with trees at the edge in the back.
What a happy idea. Thank you!
Hi Carla, Lovely pieces. May I suggest that you can give away or trade your paint for “new” so you don’t have to use them up? Maybe some one is dying for a little bit of this color or that. Reminds me of having to clean up your plate before you can have dessert. Just a suggestion from a fan. Debbie

Love the idea!!!
I think we “deserve” a lesson on using old paint colors to make new textures and paintings from the dregs of our supply. So please get busy and make a video on resurrecting beauty from the crumpled tubes! Ha ha!
great idea and good use of old paint….
These are SO lovely! Little abstract paintings, worthy of any gallery. Or cut up used in a collage, either way 🙂 very nice
Super papers! Great colors!
Use up old stuff first? You’re making me look very bad, my friend!
