Recently I’ve been working on those portraits with the collaged arms and hands (see the last post)… so I had out my oil pastel transfer sheet and watercolors.
One day I made this as a warmup:
That led to a few animals:
And then that led to some abstracted flowers:
Which led to these “cells.”
Then I went back and modified the animals for a 365 lesson:
And that led to these:
Which in a way, looks like these:
HAHAHAHAHA!!
you are so friggin’ creative! This is fabulous!
golly, my heart gets happy – seeing your messages. thank you!
I love this winding path post! I also had a lot of fun with this 365 prompt.
Amazing how steps lead to another slightly different approach and then ‘boom’ to something unique. I am learning in 365, only week two, that if I stop thinking and allow myself to experiment I will have fun and produce something more related to who I am….even if it’s a bit wacky. While I work on one project the little cogs in my brain turn regarding other days prompts, I tend not to do each day in a logical sequence. This could be good for my creativity. So enjoying making last Fridays project that I’m sort of in a Zen place with it and can’t stop. Don’t have a page of arms though 🙂
Very cool. This could be a stand alone imaginary creatures class!
So fun! I wish I had your ability to play. I’m working on that.
Wonderful, as always!!
I love the progression! Very funny
Love all the new things you’ve been working on…always inspiring!
Yeah so when is the class starting! hahahahaha Love following in your mindsteps! So fun and inspiring!!
Hi Sheila! All the techniques have been taught in our 365 class. 😉

You are AMAZING!
love how your mind works… great stuff!
Wonderful!
Oh wow!!! I love the way you show how minds work, this is exactly it, one thing leading to another.
I absolutely loooove your animals made of cells (aren’t they all? but you know what I mean!). This is great, great stuff!!
Just wanted to say 😏 Just love your journey here and where you transitioned to iwith these for this Friday’s 365 class project, just wonderful. So exciting! You are so creative and intuitive. I am slow, but inspired every day.
