Hello!

I have a little guest post over at the Art Camp for Women blog today. I will be teaching two artist books in October… class descriptions will be up soon, but there’s a little preview over there now…

I’m still painting flowers a bit each day and having fun turning them into Spoonflower designs… and I haven’t forgotten that I promised a quick tutorial later in the month!

(Another Spoonflower fabric design, and THIS TIME I got it lined up correctly!)

Silly 5 started yesterday, and I’m just LOVING all of the wonderful drawings coming out already (I have SUCH a fun job)!

I’m definitely feeling the relief of not having the books on my shoulders (at least, they’re off my table for the moment)! I’m allowing myself to “waste” an hour or so each day at the painting table and am enjoying it a lot (see above).

I’ll leave you with this quote from the wonderful Dr. Suess:

“Today was good. Today was fun. Tomorrow is another one.”

Oh my gosh! I just spent an enormous amount of time trying to design some fabric on Spoonflower. It’s so hard to get it all lined up correctly!

I hope to have it available for purchase at some point, but apparently I can’t quite yet! Update: It’s available now!
